It's about time...

I have had "update blog" on my to do list for about six months now and everytime I go to update it, something always comes up and I put it off even more so today I told myself I wasn't going to bed until it's done! So here goes...

Devin will be two NEXT month!! (makes me sad). I feel like just yesterday I was preparing for him to be born and organizing his room... oh how time flies. He is not a baby anymore and has turned into a little boy. He makes everyday so fun and an adventure. He is starting to develop his own attitude and has to do everything "himself." My mom always told me never argue with a two year or you will lose... i'm starting to understand what she meant! Devin loves choo choo trains and Mickey mouse. He has a stuffed Mickey that he has recently started carrying around everywhere and everything Devin does, Mickey has to do too :) It's fun to see him develop an imagination. Devin loves to sing- his two favorite songs are twinkle twinkle and If you're happy and you know it (he calls it clap clap song). He has a huge vocabulary and has recently started speaking in sentences. He is a sponge and will repeat a word after hearing it once (so be careful what you say!). He LOVES outside- especially mowing the lawn with Grandpa. Every night when grandpa comes home he asks him to "start the lawnmower." He loves watering Grandma's garden and doesn't care how soaked he gets with the hose. He still loves books and will let you read to him for hours- especially if it's grandma reading. I could go on and on all day about how fun he is- I love that little boy to death and enjoy all the time that I can with him!

I am still working for jetblue and going to school at the U. This is my senior year of college and will graduate in May with my bachelors in Economics. This semester is going to be my hardest but in 9 months it will be worth it!! I feel like I have gone to school forever and am so ready to be done but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and that's what keeps me going!! Somedays I only get to see Devin for 4-5 hours in between classes. I have been extremely lucky that my family and Kody can watch Devin so much. Kody watches Devin in the mornings while i'm at work or school and two nights a week my mom has Devin while i'm in class. I also have my cousin Braden watch Devin a few hours a week. I have been so fortunate not to have to put him in daycare.

This past weekend we went spent some time at my grandparents cabin... Here are a few pictures!

Petting a horse with Aunt Nany

Pushing the wheel-barrow with his big muscles!

Playing cards (a cabin tradition)

Watching Kody start a fire

This is the face you get if you ask Devin to smile :)
